Questions…

my girls never ceas to amaze me… i am the only male in my household and so i have gotten used to being in tough with the feminine quite a bit but my wife and daughters are all so different… i can see little bits of my pesonality… interests… in both of my girls… as well as my wife's and i guess that is only natural but as i said earlier… they never cease to amaze me… for instance my oldest always comes up with the most amazing and off-the-wall/out-of-the-blue questions (and an answer to this would be welcome… speculation is great too) she just came in and asked me why men's t-shirts are so long? any ideas? anyone?

ha ha ha ... known situation - I have two daughters as well, then - the only lonely male at home...

never stop to amaze me the amount of tubes, boxes, bottles and products that I can find in my bathroom! you, michael, knows very well that we cannot say the function of 90% of them!

people need only soap and shampoo. I said that to "my women" and they laugh!

see you

(not, any idea about the t-shirts lenght)

Funny question! I think it's so nothing shows when a man bends over (you know, like the plumber...) I'm sure I'm wrong. I'm glad to hear your job is going well! I miss seeing your work!

i agree with carla. or maybe men tuck in more than women. then again, maybe the real question is why women's t-shirts are so short? and maybe the answer is an assumption by fashion that woman's "lines and bottoms", to put it delicately, are alot more appealing than men's. and maybe that is true!

that said, i don't know how you would/could/should explain that to your daughter. (smile)

like everyone else, i hope you will be able to post your work from time to time.

The shirts are so long to cover up their hairy arms, lol. That's a very good question.

Mens t-shirts are longer so their daughters can wear them as nightwear! :)

frank, luckily one of my daughters (the teenager) isn't interested in all the bottles and potions only my wife and the little one but I fully understand. Although I do find myself lusting after a good moisturizer and wrinkle reducing cream every now and then…

and cez and big a, i wish i could say that it is a height thing, but my teen passed me when she was twelve, so i will have to keep hypothesizing…

carla… heaven know THAT needs covering… thanks for thought… i think…

kj… you might be on to something there… and i agree about the difference…

Delaleuverses… i will have to dismiss your theory as well… the only places i do have that extra man hair is where my tank top is… my upper arms and much of my shoulders are devoid of noticable hair… thank god…

and as usual, i can count on TXArtcGal to have a feel good answer…

thank you all for playing… and visiting… and i just finished the artwork for a friend's comic book store that has a bit of a skyline in it so there is artwork… finally…

Your daughter is right! They are too long and no one tucks them in. The only thing I can think of is that t-shirts shrink in time and men may wash them more (?) also they (men) are stingy and don't like to buy new ones often. This is through careful observation of my husband and his decaying t-shirt collection.

Because they also serve as a towel?

Had to chuckle about the comment you left on my blog: kids call the house the hideous house. ;-)
